The inaugural concert of the Coopman Foundation-Trinity Laban Partnership and the first Rosalie Coopman Composition Competition was held on 6th June 2025 in the Peacock Room of Charles Court, Royal Naval Academy site of Trinity Laban. A full house of approximately 100 people including family and friends of all participating musicians and composers, Trinity students and Rosalie’s family, listened to The Rosalie Ensemble who provided very accomplished performances of all pieces, starting with Rosalie’s ‘If you Should See Him’, progressing through the three Competition winners, David Bentley (winner of the Composition Award), Helen Caddick and Christof Davis (Honorary Mentions for Composition), to Stephen Gerber and a sequence of Trinity composition student works. The event was a huge success.
